Deposits

Currently, ACLEDA Bank Lao provides the deposit service as follow:

Account Opening Requirements

Legal person and 15 years of age or older
Legal entity (Company, Organization, Development Project, Department, Ministry of State, etc.)

Personal Account

For natural person who are Lao

Valid Lao ID card or;
Valid passport at least 03 months from the date of receipt of the document or;
Family book (which has photo and stamp of district public security. In case there is no photo and stamp must attach with resident certificate signed by village authority) or;
For Monk, novice: Monk ID or valid ID card or Monk family book which has photo or valid Passport at least 03 months from the date of receipt of the document;
Letter or document along with handwriting or signature by authorized person or authorized natural persons representative to operate or create business relationship;

For natural person who are holding foreign citizenship or Alien

Valid Passport at least 03 months from the date of receipt of the document issued by the government of the country of nationality and attached with the following document:

Valid Alien ID card (in case of alien is long-term residence in the Lao PDR)
Alien family book with photo and stamp of district public security (In case there is no photo and stamp must attach with resident certificate signed by village authority)
Stay permit card issued by the Department of Foriegn Management, Ministry of public security
Work Permit card issued by Minnistry of Social and wealthfare
Diplomatic card issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Letter or document along with handwriting or signature by authorized person or authorized natural persons representative to operate or create business relationship).

Note: Opening an account for children aged 15 to under 18 years old requires a guarantee from a guardian. For children under 15 years old is require guardian join account.

Entity account

Valid Certificate of business registration and number of Certificate of business registration
Valid business license and number of business license
Number of Tax registration certificate and Tax registration certificate of the latest year
Proposal letter with purpose for new account opening signed by the authorize person of the entity
Proxy Letter which has Signature with name or thumbprint with name and stamp of the grantor and grantee to authorize to perform the new account opening
A letter or document of any obligation and a list of management positions of the legal entity and persons with whom it has legal agreements
Letter or decision on appointing the person authorized to operate the account
Identity documents of the person authorized to operate the account and the person authorized to open the account

Organization

Permission Letter
Letter request to open account signed by the authorize person of the organization
Proxy Letter which has Signature with name or thumbprint with name and stamp of the grantor and grantee to authorize to perform the new account opening
Letter or decision on appointing the person authorized to operate the account
Identity documents of the person authorized to operate the account and the person authorized to open the account

Non-Profit Organization

Letter request to open account signed by the authorize person of the Non-profit organization
License to operate non-profit organization
Copy of registration certificate and license to operate activity from the relevant government
Proxy Letter which has Signature with name or thumbprint with name and stamp of the grantor and grantee to authorize to perform the new account opening
Letter or decision on appointing the person authorized to operate the account
Identity documents of the person authorized to operate the account and the person authorized to open the account

Financial Institution (FI), Commercial Bank located in Laos

Valid Certificate of Business registration and number
Valid Business license and number issued by the Bank of the Lao PDR or Ministry of Finance
Valid Tax registration certificate and number
Letter request to open account signed by the authorize person of FI or commercial bank
Proxy Letter which has Signature with name or thumbprint with name and stamp of the grantor and grantee to authorize to perform the new account opening
Letter or decision on appointing the person authorized to operate the account
Identity documents of the person authorized to operate the account and the person authorized to open the account
